Laundry Ministry Has a New Venue

The last St. Andrew's laundry ministry event, on February 19, found us at a new location!

The same good people who own Supreme Wash on Madison have opened a brand new laundromat at 476 Central Avenue in Albany. It is more spacious and even better equipped to serve the needs of our guests. We were able to wash more clothes for more people than we have ever before in our ministry. Our "regulars" followed us over to the Central Ave laundromat, and we met some new guests as well. It looks like we will continue to offer the free laundry once a month at this new location.

In addition, we had two new volunteers, Zack and Scott, who joined join us. Thanks so much for helping out! We hope to see both of you at our future laundry events.

One question that our guests sometimes ask is "why are you doing this?" or "what's in it for you?"  We tell them that it is a blessing to us to be able to help out wherever we can. It is what Christians should do for our neighbors. So thank you for letting us meet you, and share what we can with each other.
