The next General Convention of The Episcopal Church will be held in Indianapolis, IN next year in July. Dioceses have already begun the selection of their deputies to convention. The latest newsletter of Province II has published the names of the deputies chosen so far from the dioceses of the Province, to which the Diocese of Albany belongs.
Not all of the dioceses have reported at this time. Missing are the deputies from the Diocese of New York, Rochester, and Haiti. The Diocese of Albany will, of course, select its representatives at diocesan convention this coming weekend. The delegations from the remaining dioceses will be reported as they become known.
Why do we give the names of the deputies from other dioceses here? General Convention in 2012 will consider some important issues for the whole Church, probably including our accession to the proposed Anglican Covenant. If you are of a mind, you might consider writing to the delegates from other dioceses within our Province, to let them know your principled stance on the issues facing our Church. Several of the dioceses conveniently report the email addresses of delegates, which makes communication even easier.
At the least, you may find the names of friends from elsewhere in the Church listed below:

I believe you may have mistaken the word Provincial with the word provisional. Asl Mr. Winson pointed out we will be electing provisional delegates, of which I am a candidate. You may not be aware that those elected as delegates to General Convention are also our delegates to the Province.
