Biography

I am a lifelong Episcopalian, married to an Episcopal Priest in the Diocese of Albany (whom I gladly absolve of any responsibility for this blog). We have two delightful teenagers at home who keep us busy and sane. I view the Anglican/Episcopal world from a pew in the choir of St. Andrew's Church, Albany. Not a bad vantage point, really. In the Diocese of California, where I grew up, I found myself a conservative because my faith embraced the the traditional creeds and all of Scripture. In the Diocese of Albany, however, the compass points to wildly liberal because I support a socially progressive agenda and belong to Via Media, an organization committed to keeping our diocese within The Episcopal Church (TEC). It all depends on the perspective. Right now I am just trying to make sense of where we are as a Church, and hope that my musings will help others figure it out, as well.
